SEWER repairs will mean closing down a Winsford road in two phases.
United Utilities has asked the county Highways department to close Wharton Road temporarily so it can carry out sewer improvements.
The road will be closed in two phases between January 14 and May 30.
The first will see it closed from its junction with Ledward Street to Crook Lane.
The second phase will be from Nat Lane to the junction with Bradbury Road.
Colin Castleton, senior manager of Car Transplants, said: “It’s bound to cause some disruption but it won’t affect us too much, I hope.”
