A RESTAURANT in Little Sutton is launching a range of new dishes inspired by the chef’s recent trip to Bangladesh.

Rukon Kamaly, who owns The Holdi Spice Lounge on Chester Road, has a passion for creating freshly made and authentic curry dishes and regularly looks to search out new dishes to tantalise his customers. So when the Bangladesh-born chef, who also owns a sister restaurant in Woolton Village, Liverpool, visited his home country recently, he took the opportunity to scope out some traditional dishes to bring back to Ellesmere Port.

“We are very lucky to have such a loyal customer base” said Rukon.

“Everyone has their favourite dishes and of course we understand that traditional dishes like tikka masala and jalfrezi will always be popular dishes on our menu, however I felt it was important to continue to offer our customers something new – so seeking out new dishes on my recent trip was a top priority.

“We feature more than 100 dishes on our menu and for me it’s about creating fresh authentic Indian cuisine as diverse as the culture, offering customers a totally new experience with a complete spectrum of tastes and flavours.”
