IT WAS pan-demonium in an Ellesmere Port nursery school as youngsters cooked up some flipping tasty treats.
Staff at Little Acorns Nursery, based in Stanlaw Abbey Children’s Centre, Alnwick Drive, helped the children celebrate Pancake Day in style.
The group spent Monday making and decorating chefs hats out of cardboard and crêpe paper in preparation for the big day.
And yesterday (Tuesday) children donned their creations, along with matching aprons, to cook up a storm on the nursery’s toy ovens – before going home to enjoy their traditional Shrove Tuesday treats.
