King's student Tommy Metcalf, 17, of Chester, has passed his diploma exam in piano.
This qualification is the first of three diplomas offered by the Associated Board beyond the regular Grade 8s that the majority of students take.
As a result, Tommy is entitled to have the letters DipABRSM after his name.
