A WREXHAM woman will be driving in style this year after winning a brand new car.
Joy Edwards from Marchwiel was delighted when she was told she was the lucky winner of Nightingale House Hospice’s annual car raffle, winning a bright red Corsa, which was sponsored by Vauxhall Dickens Group, Wrexham.
The car raffle raised £33,535 for the hospice.
Sandra Monks, community fundraiser for Nightingale House said: “Thank you to everybody who took part in the raffle, helping to raise valuable funds for the hospice. Also, an extra big thank you goes to Vauxhall Dickens Group, Wrexham for their support. Congratulations to Joy – we hope that she will enjoy her new drive!”
