THIS year’s Northwich Remembrance service will take place at St Helen’s Parish Church in Northwich at 9.45am on Sunday, November 9.

The pre-service parade will begin at Crum Hill, next to the police station, at 9.30am, and will make its way to the town centre cenotaph at 10.30-10.40am

A short service at the cenotaph is due to start at about 10.50am.

The Winsford parade starts on the drive at Wyvern House at 10.15am and will march to the cenotaph.

The service, which starts at 10.45am at the cenotaph, will be conducted by the town mayor’s chaplain, the Rev David Wilson.

1 Mercian (Cheshire) Regiment soldiers will attend and town mayor Des Worthington, and Vale Royal mayor Malcolm Gaskill will lay wreaths.
