A PHOTOGRAPHIC exhibition at The Junction, Vale Royal’s learning centre in Winsford, is displaying pictures from a trip to recent Crosby beach.

Running until Friday, November 28, the digital display is free to view and proving a huge success.

The amateur snappers who went on the trip to Crosby last month are taking a photography course at The Junction, and many took pictures of artist Antony Gormley’s Another Place, a collection of 100 cast-iron figures facing out to sea.

Brenda Rutherford, who attended the day, said: “Despite the weather being awful, it turned out to be a wonderful day and we’re all very proud of the photographs we took.

“The course has been brilliant and we’re all eager to take more photos. To have them on display is just fantastic.”
