HUMAN resources (HR) professionals can get up to speed with the latest developments in employment law at a specialist seminar in Ellesmere Port.
The free event is hosted by recruitment business gap commercial in partnership with law firm Aaron & Partners.
Guest speaker Helen Watson, partner and head of employment law at Aaron & Partners, will talk on a range of issues affecting HR and will discuss recent employment tribunal cases, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions afterwards.
Chrissie Small, regional manager at gap commercial, said: “This will be the sixth HR seminar we have held, and the feedback we’ve had so far has been fantastic.
“The event is aimed at HR directors, HR managers, and anyone who is involved in human resources or has to manage a workforce.
“Employment law is a fast moving area, and there is always a new piece of legislation just around the corner.
“Even the most diligent HR professional can sometimes struggle to stay up to date with legislative changes and landmark tribunal cases.
“This seminar will offer delegates a concise overview of the current employment law landscape, and also give them an opportunity to meet up with like-minded professionals.”
The event takes place at the Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port/Cheshire Oaks from noon-4pm on Friday, March 8.
Before the seminar there will be a two-course buffet lunch, allowing attendees to network with other HR professionals from across the region.
