A LEAFLET steering victims towards help has been released this week as the county council marks Domestic Violence Awareness Week.

‘Be safe – get help with domestic abuse’, is the message from Cheshire Domestic Abuse Partnership and the new pamphlet outlines what services are available to men, women and family members.

Families can call the 0808 2000 247 National Helpline but they are also shown what is available in Vale Royal.

Copies of the leaflet can be obtained via 01244 973248.

This week is also the 10th anniversary of the partnership, an organisation which brings together county and district local authorities and help agencies.

Their Family Safety Unit now looks after 400 Cheshire women, men and their children, to be safer and stronger.
