A GREAT SUTTON woman has taken a leap of faith to raise funds for a charity close to her heart.

Not content with just a birthday cake, Jayne Robb celebrated her 29th birthday thousands of feet up in the skies as she completed a skydive to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The charity is particularly close to Jayne’s heart as her grandfather has the disease.

But thanks to Jayne, a lettings manager at Minchin Fellows estate agents in Chester, and her friend Emma Trousedale, who joined her on the feat, more than £500 has been raised from the skydive so far, bringing the total to almost £1,000.

Jayne said: “The skydive was fantastic, Emma and I really enjoyed it and it was all for such a good cause. The society helps care for people with Alzheimer’s and also does a good amount of research.”
