A GREAT SUTTON stylist to the stars has bagged himself a national hairdressing award.
Richard Phillipart, 27, of The Boutique Salon & Spa, beat some of the biggest names in the hairdressing business to be crowned Entrepreneur on Creative Head’s 2012 IT List.
Richard has styled the tresses of some of the UK’s biggest names, including soap stars from Coronation Street.
Held primarily for young hairdressers under 30, the awards ceremony, which was sponsored by GHD, was hosted by comedian Seann Walsh at the Royal Courts of Justice in central London and attended by hairdressing elite such as Andrew Collinge.
With a panel of judges including hair experts international artistic director at Toni&Guy Cos Sakkas, and Charlie Mitton from digital marketing agency eight&four, the award honours salon owners and managers who have launched exciting new salons with a unique business model and faithful clientele.
