SUPER stylists from Great Sutton travelled to London last week to help soap stars shine at a glamorous awards bash.
The team from The Boutique Salon and Spa was selected to style the hair of the Coronation Street cast at the British Soap Awards.
Owner Richard Phillipart was joined by senior stylist Maria Cowan, assistant of the month Jade Irving and beauty therapist Levi Reid to create styles for 23 stars.
Richard, 27, said: “The backstage was utter madness with star after star turning up for their hair appointments with us, but my team stepped up and made sure everyone looked fantastic.”
Prior to the ceremony actress Steph Waring – who plays Cindy Cunningham in Hollyoaks – dropped into the Old Chester Road salon for a makeover.
The team were also called on to put finishing touches to cast members from EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale.
Richard, who was named British extensionist of the year at the Hair Awards 2012, has previously worked backstage at London Fashion Week and the Pride of Britain Awards.
