A GREAT SUTTON pub celebrated Burns Night with traditional and hearty Scottish fare.

Delicacies such as haggis, neeps and tatties were accompanied by Scottish pipe music and the recital of the famous Ode to the Haggis at The Sea Horse pub on Hope Farm Road.

Landlord Chris Littler said: “We took over the pub in September and have worked really hard to encourage new custom here.

“Nights such as this bring new people into the pub to enjoy its atmosphere and we have lots of new activities planned, including a paediatric first aid course, psychic night and a quiz night as well as lots of offers in the restaurant.”

Landlady Collette Linford added: “We hope local people will see The Sea Horse as a local hub and if they have any ideas for activities then please let us know.”
