The Uniting Church in Garden Lane celebrated Harvest Thanksgiving with friends from the local community.

The church held a coffee morning with proceeds going to the Chester Aid to The Homeless as well as a harvest service in the church on the Sunday morning where harvest gifts in the form of food which is to be shared with another local charity Save the Family and the foodbank.

The coffee morning was well supported as usual and CEO of Chester Aid to The Homeless Robert Bissett thanked the church for its continued support over many years and gave an update about the charity.

The coffee morning raised £190 for this worthy cause.
