Youngsters from the University Church of England Academy had a fun-filled weekend.

The group of Year 8 students set off to the 130-acre Kingswood outdoor adventure and learning centre set in breathtaking surroundings in North Wales having consistently demonstrated the academy’s core values.

The aim was to develop their educational and social skills in the ‘inspiring’ location.

On offer was a range of activities including archery, climbing, abseiling, zip wires, raft building and caving.

They described the instructors as ‘really helpful’ and said they pushed them to do their best in every activity.

“Amazing, I would like to come again,” said one.
