Water supply to homes in Frodsham will be temporarily switched off for United Utilities maintenance.

The work on the area around Church Street, Kydds Wint and Alvanley Terrace starts on Monday (January 11) for about two weeks.

It had been postponed from November because of Frodsham Christmas Festival and the festive shopping trade.

A Frodsham Town Council statement said: “During the work there will be a short period of time where some residents’ water supply will need to be switched off, but United Utilities will notify residents when it will be closer to the time.

“Access to properties around the working area will be maintained as much as possible and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.”

There will not be any temporary traffic lights on Church Street during the work.

United Utilities have asked for any vehicles to be moved from Kydds Wint before 8am on week days to allow access.

Anyone with questions about the work should contact the water company on 0345 672 3723, quoting project number 80030566.
