COTEBROOK Shire Horse Centre is opening up its stable doors to the public and offering unlimited free visits.

The award-winning centre, near Tarporley, is inviting people to visit their 50-acre site during February and March – and register for a month’s worth of entry tickets.

Staff at the centre hope that those living on a budget will take advantage of free days out in the Cheshire countryside and see some award-winning Shire horses.

Owner Alistair King said: “From February 1 until March 31, visitors who pay for entry into the centre can retain their ticket, which will remain valid for a whole month and allow them to return as many times as they like within that period for free.”

The centre also boasts a nature trail, where visitors can see badgers, otters, owls, pigs, polecats and red squirrels.

The centre is open daily from 10am-5pm (last admission 4pm). For more information call 01829 760506 or visit www.cotebrookshirehorses.co.uk.
