Ellesmere Port will again remember the 96 this month.

The annual charity fun day and night will take place at the Whitby Sports & Social Club on Saturday, April 18.

The daytime event will run from noon to 5pm featuring a fun fair, live music by Albie Woods and students from West Cheshire College, boxing and dance displays.

There will be guest appearances by Snow Queen Elsa and Ellesmere Port’s own boxing champion Paul Butler and a raffle.

Entry is just £1 on the door.

Photography will be available on the day by Andrew Ranson Photography, which is based in the town, which people will be able to purchase at the event.

The night time show from 7pm onwards will feature Liverpool’s ultimate 70s rock tribute band Koo Ka Choo, a disco, raffle and auction.

Tickets price £10 are available from the club.

Funds raised will be in aid of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, the Shine spina bifida charity, Wirral Community Police Boxing Club and the Friends of Ellesmere Port Network supporting adults with learning disabilities.
