FEARS are growing for a cat who belonged to stabbing victim Janis Dundas.

Friends of Mrs Dundas have rallied together to try to find Bobby, who went missing from her daughter’s home in Parklands on April 21 – just two weeks after his owner was killed in her home.

Bobby, who is chipped, was known to be traumatised by Mrs Dundas’s death and had a very specific diet.

A friend said: “Janis spoilt him rotten, he was her best friend and she adored him.”

Jack Alan Huxley, Mrs Dundas’ step-grandson, is accused of killing 63-year-old Janis Dundas in the early hours of Friday, April 5.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on August 9 charged with stabbing Mrs Dundas, stealing her car and damaging it after crashing into a wall, and with possession of a kitchen knife when he was arrested on Regent Street in Ellesmere Port.

It is thought Bobby may have returned to the vicinity of his owner’s home on Atherton Road.
