DANCING fundraisers celebrated a £185 haul for a children’s charity after a zumbathon on Sunday.

Friends Laura Kent and Elisha Brady staged the two-hour zumba and bowkwa session at The Groves Sports and Social Club, Whitby, Ellesmere Port.

The event will raised cash for Capital FM’s Help A Child charity.

Each have to raise £3,200 for the charity to take part in a 10-day trek across the Great Wall of China in March next year.

Laura Kent said: “It went really well and we raised £185 in two hours.

“Elisha and I would like to thank everyone who came and made it such a success.”
