POOCHES can win prizes at a dog show for residents in Stanney Fields Park, Neston, on Saturday.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a dog agility and flyball display at 2pm, while registration for the dog show is under way with a taster session for the public and pet charity Pets as Therapy will have a stand at the event.
Organised by the Friends of Stanney Fields Park, the event has been sponsored by Bargain Booze, Little Neston, with prizes and a Best in Show trophy provided by Neston Pet Supplies.
Registration will begin at 2pm, with the show starting at 3pm.
Cllr Andy Williams, who will be attending the event, said: “I would encourage all local residents to visit Stanney Fields Park on Saturday and see what’s on offer – there promises to be something for everyone.
“It really is a lovely afternoon so people are welcome to come along to watch even if they don’t have a dog.”
