Crash causes chaos on roads

A CAR crashed into an electricity pylon in Winsford causing traffic chaos early on Monday morning.

A CAR crashed into an electricity pylon in Winsford causing traffic chaos early on Monday morning.

Miraculously, no one was injured despite the pole falling across the road blocking both carriageways of Middlewich Road. Police say the driver of the white Ford Focus walked away unscathed following the crash at 7.15am.

Road One on Winsford Industrial Estate and Clive Lane remain closed. Scottish Power engineers are currently onsite attempting to restore power.
