Saturday and Sunday were busy fun-filled days in the Port Arcades Shopping Centre.

Santa’s Elves with their ‘Goodometer’ were in the centre on Saturday, to check which children have been good.

Shoppers young and old loved the opportunity to take festive photos with the ‘face spaces’ Christmas themed boards.

A delighted audience gathered on Sunday to listen to performances by Leos Quartet, who played a mixture of traditional and contemporary tunes.

Younger shoppers were delighted to meet walkabout character, Twinkle the Christmas Tree, out and about on the mall.

This coming weekend, in typical Port Arcades style, there’s more fun to be had on the mall with the festive comedy Traffic Wardens. Always at the ready to issue festival fines for those that fall foul of their rules and regulations, this comedic pair are sure to entertain shoppers.

The Churches Together group will be performing a ‘Scratch Nativity’ in the centre and local female singing sensations Signature will be performing a wide range of Christmas favourites.

Sunday sees the return by popular demand of Christmas gingerbread decorating and the cuddly Santa Bear will meeting children and posing for photographs between 10.30am and 3pm.
