CHRISTINE Brassey has been presented with a music copy of Hymns and Psalms in recognition of her work over many years as superintendent of Tallarn Green Sunday Club.
Mrs A Schofield made the presentation to Mrs Brassey on behalf of the church.
Meanwhile, the Church Council has decided that the £300 raised at a charity lunch should go to the Calabash Trust, an organisation which feeds Aids orphans in South Africa.
Easter services at Tallarn Green Methodist Church start with a Good Friday service at 7pm led by the Rev R Taylor, with items by the choir, and drama by Christine and Rachel Clegg, Hilary Price and Martin Woodhall.
On Easter Sunday the service will be led by the Rev N Pugh of Wrexham and the service will include communion.
