Childer Thornton Primary School pupils pick up healthy eating tips

YOUNGSTERS from Childer Thornton Primary School had the chance to pick up a few expert cookery tips this week.

Janine Ellis, from ExpoChef, paid a visit to the school in New School Lane on Thursday, treating pupils to a cookery demonstration.

She prepared four nutritious dishes to show children how to create healthy meals without sacrificing taste. Pupils also had the opportunity to lend Janine a hand.

ExpoChef is a business which aims to promote healthy eating across the UK by providing demonstration chefs who are trained to educate youngsters in cooking healthy food.
