WITH Christmas just around the corner, all five of Nightingale House Hospice’s charity shops have been busy putting on a ‘Top Toy’ display in-store.

Every year, thousands of toys, videos, DVDs, books and games are donated to Nightingale House Hospice. Many of these are in excellent condition and are often sought-after by keen collectors – both young and old.

Caroline Siddall, income generation manager at Nightingale House, said: “The generosity of our supporters never ceases to amaze us. Our shops are a very important part of our local communities and with the recession beginning to bite, they offer a good opportunity for people on a tight budget looking for good quality products – particularly toys and presents for Christmas, we are busier than ever but we still need to remind people about what we do.”

Nightingale House has charity shops in Buckley, Cefn Mawr, Rhos (including a furniture store) and Wrexham (Brook Street and Rhosnesni Lane). For details, contact Income Generation on 01978 314292 or visit www.nightingalehouse.co.uk.
