THE mayor of Ellesmere Port, Cllr Angela Claydon, is inviting everyone to a fundraising event.
A charity hog roast will be held at the White Lion, New Road, Childer Thornton, on Monday, August 29, in aid of the mayor’s charity fund.
Cllr Claydon said: “Everyone is invited and there is a vegetarian option to the hog roast.
“Special activities take place on bank holiday Monday between 2pm and 5pm and there will be choir and a raffle.
“Please come along and support my charity and I hope to see as many people as possible there.”
