A SEMI-DETACHED property occupied by a nursing home could revert to a dwelling, planners believed.

The application was made by Mr Iain Corlett at Parkside, 14 Earle Drive, Parkgate.

Mr Corlett told borough planners there would be no external alterations to the property, which has parking for two or three cars on the drive at the front.

No representations were made by neighbours who were consulted on the application and there were no objections from Neston Civic Society or from Parkgate borough councillor Brenda Dowding (Con) who was notified.

Planning officers did not believe the conversion would raise any major concerns.

The property had previously been a single residential dwelling and it could comfortably accommodate a family home.

There would be no undue harm to the character of the locality or to the amenity of neighbours.

The application was recommended for approval and the borough council agreed the application could have permission.
