CHESHIRE West Council’s management board and executive will be outlining the new authority’s aims and priorities at a public event to be held in Winsford tonight (Wednesday).
Residents, businesses and voluntary groups are all invited to meet key officers and councillors and learn more about CWAC at Winsford Civic Hall from 7p-8.30pm.
Leader Mike Jones and chief executive Steve Robinson will be introducing the new council’s portfolio holders and the directors who will be spearheading the authority’s drive to become one of the country’s best performing councils when it takes over the running of local services in April.
People will be able to ask questions and give feedback about what they hear.
Cllr Jones said: “We would encourage as many residents and stakeholders as possible to come along.”
Mr Robinson added: “It’s a great opportunity to continue the process of building strong links with our communities.”
