RESIDENTS in Vale Royal are to be asked for their opinions on housing to help the new authority prepare their policies ahead of coming into power in April.
Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) is distributing a survey to households across the county as part of their housing market assessment.
It is designed to find out how much affordable housing is required, what the aspirations of households are and the need for specialist and supported housing for particular groups, such as older people.
The postal survey will be sent out this month and residents are urged to have their say and return it free of charge in the envelope provided. Surveys can also be completed online at www.cwacsurvey2009.info.
