A COMPOUND full of building materials in Ellesmere Port was torched by yobs.
They broke into the Bellway Homes yard by the Overpool Cemetery at 8.26pm on Sunday, and set alight materials including plastic fencing and breeze blocks.
The blaze, which was “going well” by the time fire crews arrived, did not spread to the homes.
