A BREAST cancer charity is seeking good sports to step out and raise funds.
Breast Cancer Care’s (BCC) Pink Ribbonwalk at Cholmondeley Castle takes place on Saturday, June 9, and the charity is recruiting walkers to take part.
The event, in association with Woman&Home, encompasses either a 10 or 20-mile route taking in the grounds of the castle as well as the picturesque views from the Sandstone Trail.
Last year more than 500 people took part raising more than £200,000 for charity.
BCC walks event manager Lucy Thomson said: “Following on from the success of last year we are delighted to hold our second Breast Cancer Care Pink Ribbonwalk at Chomondeley Castle for what will be a fun and rewarding day!
“The Pink Ribbonwalks are a highlight of the Breast Cancer Care summer and we’d love as many people as possible to take part.
“Whether you or a loved one has had breast cancer, or just want to enjoy a fun day’s walk, you’ll be a part of something special.
“Every penny you raise will ensure Breast Cancer Care can continue to support people affected by breast cancer.”
Registration costs £30 and walkers are required to raise a minimum of £175 worth of sponsorship to help fund Breast Cancer Care’s vital support services.
