ALMOST 300 members of staff from Chester-based Bank of America Europe Card Services will take to the organisation’s call centre phones to collect donations for Sport Relief.

The response from staff this year has been so emphatic, the company had no option but to adopt a ‘first come first serve’ policy, with a waiting list of additional associates all keen to help out on the night.

Bank of America, one of the north west region’s largest employers, will be using its call centre to take donations from the public for the sporting charity spectacular on Friday (March 19). The call centre teams at Bank of America ECS will operate from 6.30pm to 2am and will join about 12,000 other people giving their time to operate phone lines around the UK.
