ELLESMERE Port rock star Ian Prowse did a double turn at a festival in Liverpool at the weekend.
The Amsterdam and former Pele frontman played a solo set at the massive annual outdoor event, the Hope Street Feast, which thousands flock to every year.
He then showed up on the stage at the Philharmonic Hall, which had opened its doors for the festival.
Accompanied by fellow musicians Terry Clarke-Coyne and Alan Burke, he was there to preview the Irish Sea Sessions, an evening of music inspired by Irish folk songs to celebrate the shared music and bond between Liverpool and Ireland.
Prowse will return to the Philharmonic stage for the Sea Sessions proper on Friday, October 21. For tickets, call the box office on 0151 709 3789.
