Abbey Gate College pupil Francois Antoine has been a regular member of the Chester and District Schoolboys Football team since being selected at trials in October.
Now he has signed schoolboy forms for Chester FC.
So far, he has played a number of games against other North West town teams and reports suggest he has made outstanding contributions in matches and been a key figure in their success.
Franc who lives in Elton is a powerful and combative midfield player, with tricks and turns that, allied to his pace and power, make him a formidable player.
Franc continues to play in a variety of positions for the college and recently starred as centreback in a 5-0 win at Ellesmere College. His talent did not go unnoticed and he signed his forms for Chester FC , where he now trains twice a week and plays weekend matches in this highly competitive arena.
The college wishes Franc all the best with his football career and it looks forward to more star performances, including on the college’s Easter football tour to Barcelona.
