AWAY-DAY specialists Caersws moved a point further clear of the relegation places thanks to a quickfire first-half double.
Goals from Graham Evans and Neil Mitchell within as many minutes saw the Bluebirds record their fourth straight win on the road.
It might have been different had Paul Hallows converted one of the golden opportunities that came his way early on.
The striker should have done better when he raced on to Adam Hunter’s defence-splitting pass before he shot straight at Andy Mulliner.
But it was the visitors who broke the deadlock against the run of play when Evans’ volley was adjudged to have crossed the line.
And two minutes later Mitchell shrugged off John Davies before cutting inside and unleashing an unstoppable left-footed drive into the roof of the net.
The hosts took the game to Mike Barton’s men in the second half and Danny Desormeaux’s cracker flashed agonisingly wide while Mulliner also tipped Mark Allen’s header over.
