A trampoline park for all ages and abilities to enjoy is now open in Winsford.

Urban Air Cheshire Trampoline Park has sprung its doors to the public with the summer holidays in full swing.

The 50-bed park can be found at Navigation Park on Winsford Industrial Estate.

Co-founders and friends Nicola Finn and Sarah Addiscott are behind the project, which has given the community a fantastic new facility.

Sarah said: “It’s turned out almost exactly how we imagined it. There’s a big learning curve for us, but really it’s been fabulous.

“People have said Winsford deserves this and we are delighted to be here.

“It’s nice to see people’s smiling faces when they come in and they’ve had a good time.

“You burn lots of calories and have fun at the same time, so it’s the best of both worlds.”

The trampoline area itself will feature basketball hoops, a climbing wall, vaults and other obstacles to add to the fun.

Birthday parties are also on offer as well as toddler and family bounce sessions.

Nicola and Sarah are stressing the fitness benefits of the activity, with a full schedule of classes already up and running.

Sarah said: “It’s the summer holidays and some of the parents who have come down have said they really wanted to do something fun with the children.

“Of course the Olympics are on too, but I would say people shouldn’t attempt anything until they’ve had the training first!

“We will have fitness clubs, dance sessions and lots of other activities so there will be something for everyone. Nicola and I just want to keep building it up.”

A flurry of trampoline parks have been springing up the region of late as the craze grows in popularity, but Urban Air offers the closest location for Northwich, Middlewich and Crewe.

Two rival companies have lodged planning applications for industrial units next door to each other near Chester.

'A very interesting journey'

The two mums have poured in hours of hard work to get Urban Air going since Nicola was inspired on a trip to Dubai.

Sarah said: “I don’t really know how to explain what if feels like to have it up and running. I have to pinch myself.

“It’s been a very interesting journey. To take it from an idea to reality is amazing."
