Winsford could be getting its own family fun trampoline park very soon.

Urban Air Cheshire Trampoline Park is on track to 'get off the ground' in the town in August.

Co-founders and friends Nicola Finn and Sarah Addiscott are behind the project and are keen to stress the fitness benefits on trampolining.

They already have planning permission for the 50-bed park at Navigation Park on Winsford Industrial Estate.

Mum-of-three Nicola was inspired to bring the idea to Winsford after a trip to Dubai.

Sarah said: “It’s a vision we had and we just thought let’s give it a go.

“The whole process is very exciting, we want to make sure it fits within the community.

Two rival companies have lodged planning applications for industrial units next door to each other near Chester.

Urban Air are promising to offer toddler and family bounce sessions as well as birthday parties. The site plan includes a cafe for those in need of a tea break.

The trampoline area itself will feature basketball hoops, vaults and other obstacles to add to the fun.

Sarah, who also has two children, explained the Winsford location meant Urban Air would also be accessible for those in Northwich, Middlewich and Crewe.
