The Chronicle has teamed up with Mornflake to offer three £100 hampers packed with delicious breakfast products to mark another year as sponsor of Nantwich Food Festival which is expected to attract thousands of visitors

Mornflake will have a high profile at the event taking place over the weekend, September 4-7, when the Mornflake Gourmet Food Hall, based on the Bowling Green car park, will be filled mouth-watering delicacies from around the world.

The breakfast foods company will also be there with its own stand offering its wide range of cereals including its famous porridge, muesli and granola products.

Its vintage van will also be on Nantwich town square giving visitors an opportunity to sample its much-loved Cheshire-milled range.

Mornflake spokeswoman Catherine Sadler said: “It’s been another busy summer for Mornflake, showcasing our products at events up and down the country.

“Now we are preparing for Nantwich Food Festival. As a long-term sponsor, we take great delight in seeing the festival welcome thousands of foodies to the town every year.

“We’ll be encouraging visitors to eat healthily and tastily with our delicious and versatile products, not just at breakfast, but as a snack anytime of the day.”

Dating back 340 years, Mornflake delivers bowls of breakfast joy to millions of people in 62 countries and has fans spread across the world.

They include food bloggers and celebrities who post their breakfast pictures on social media. The latest to announce being a fan was TV cook and healthy-eating fan Lorraine Pascale.

Catherine added: “We have thousands of followers on Facebook and Twitter who tell us they couldn’t begin a day without Mornflake. Going out to festivals gives an opportunity to meet face-to-face with our consumers and get their direct feed-back.”

Mornflake is also a long-term sponsor of the Nantwich Show and July saw it welcome record crowds to its Food Hall at Dorfold Park.
