This footage shows the terrifying moment the driver of a car narrowly avoids a crash after an articulated lorry pulls out in front of him.
The near miss was filmed on the dashcam of a vehicle travelling close behind.
The car driver was forced to brake sharply after the Irish-registered truck pulled out.
It happened between Chester and Wrexham, on the A483, last Thursday morning (May 26).

The motorist whose dashcam caught the near smash said: “The car was forced to brake sharply to avoid running into the back of the lorry.
“Quite why the driver wanted to overtake another truck at that moment is a mystery to me because as soon as he had overtaken he returned to the nearside lane.”
