A toddler has won praise from former Wanted pop star Nathan Sykes after singing his heart out in the back of his dad's car.

Marcus Williams, 23, from Hoole, recorded his adorable three-year-old son Louie singing from the top of his lungs to the former boyband singer’s new track, Famous.

The British pop star, who recently launched a solo career after The Wanted called it quits in 2014, spotted Louie’s video on Twitter and retweeted it to his 1.6 million fans.

After watching the video, Sykes tweeted: “Hahaha this has just made my day.”

Louie, who lives with his mum Lisa Ettery, 23, in Prestatyn, and also stays with his dad in Chester, has captured the hearts of the nation and has gained hundreds of views on his video.

The little superstar also made an appearance on the Capital North West and North Wales radio station this morning (November 3).

Marcus said: “The song was on in the car on the radio and Louie started singing along to it.

“I asked him how he knows the words and he told me he always listens to it with his mum.

“He asked me to play it again so I played it on my phone on repeat and video-ed him singing along.

“I posted it on Twitter and then Nathan Sykes retweeted it and quoted it had made his day.

“Louie was quite clueless but he did love hearing himself on the radio.

“He was asking how he got there saying ‘that’s me singing’.

“He loves attention.”
