Thieves have carried out a series of ‘high value’ bike thefts in Kingsley in the last week.
Cheshire Constabulary have issued advice to keep all buildings and cars locked while the incidents are investigated.
In some cases offenders have also managed to get into vehicles parked on driveways.
Residents are asked to not leave expensive items in the back garden or by the side of the house.
Chester LPU Rural and Frodsham PCSO Phil Brandreth also said to keep bikes and power tools out of sight.
He said: “Unfortunately there has been a number of bike thefts, which were of high value, from the Kingsley area in the past week.
“If you do see or hear anything suspicious at any time of the day please ring 101 immediately and report it.
“If you have any CCTV systems on your property please make sure they are working correctly and if possible check previous evenings.”
Anyone with information should call 101 or email PCSO Brandreth on firstname.lastname@example.org.
