Professor Elaine Graham, from the University of Chester’s Department of Theology and Religious Studies, will give her inaugural lecture on Thursday, June 9.

Titled ‘ Late Again, Cinderella: The Strange Tale of Feminism and Practical Theology ’ the lecture will consider some of the ways in which the discipline of practical theology has been informed by feminist theory over the past 20 years: its dominant themes and significant achievements.

It will conclude by arguing that the perennial critical feminist sensibilities of protest, resistance and transformation still have relevance.

Tea and coffee will be served before the lecture and a complimentary drink will be available afterwards.
