On Sunday The Brain Tumour Charity will be tackling the Roman city walls, admiring the magnificent cathedral and exploring a unique medieval past as it brings it’s ‘Twilight Walk’ to Chester.

The 10k event which was held for the first time in Windsor last autumn, raising more than £90,000 and bringing together 500 walkers and volunteers will this year be held in Chester and Warwick.

The magical walk sets off as dusk falls and will feature sights at every turn, startling autumn colours and a rapturous reception at the finishing line.

The route takes in the city centre, including the Castle, the River Dee and the Cathedral. It starts at Chester town hall at 4.30pm.

Registration is in advance only: £15 for adults, £10 for children, under 5’s free which includes a special edition t-shirt to wear on the night, refreshments, a medal and The Twilight Walk goody bag. There’s no minimum sponsorship target but each of our walks could fund a pioneering research project for a year if everyone raised £100.
