TRIBUTES have been paid to a popular Chester man after he was found dead at the site of a city centre builders’ merchants.

Danny Lunt, 21, was discovered in the building yard at Hoole Bridge Building Supplies in Hoole Road at 6.56am on Tuesday.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

The former Chester Catholic High School pupil was not connected to the builders’ merchants.

Following Danny’s death, dozens of messages have been left on his Facebook page by devastated friends.

And yesterday staff at Chester Catholic High School said a prayer for Danny, his family and friends after learning of the tragic news.

Headteacher John Murray said: “He was always smiling. He was friends with everyone and willing to do anything you asked him to.

“He never had a bad word to say about anyone.”

Everton fan Danny spent a large part of last year working in Magaluf.

A host of friends have paid tribute to him on his Facebook profile page.

Shaun Arathoon wrote:

“Cant believe it! Your going to be sadly missed by soo many people, always had a big smile on your face and always up for havin a laugh! Your in a better place now mate, R.I.P dan.”

Jo Jackers posted: “Words can’t describe the loss of a funny honest caring friend. Thank you for you kindness and your love you showed to my family. You will be missed.”

Martin Jefferson said: “Deep shock, such a bright light to everyone close to him, I feel as though a touch of darkness has just came over me. Danny my friend, you will be missed, may you rest in peace.”

Danielle Taja Piercy wrote: “Love you mate, will always remember you as the always smiling most genuine lad I was lucky enough to have in my life. Keep partying up there, see you one day in the future. Love you xxxx.”

Sean Sweetman posted: “A top lad nobody had a bad word to say about you! Always had a smile on your face. Still can’t believe it you will be missed by everybody sleep tight mate. Gone but never forgotten x.”
