The trial of an ex-police officer accused of flashing a woman in Newtown got under way at Chester Crown Court today (Monday, May 23).
Forty-one-year-old Kevin Dwyer, of Sunny Bank Close in Newton-le-Willows, denies indecently exposing himself while he was inside his car on Francis Street on July 5 last year.
Dwyer was formerly based at the North Manchester division of Greater Manchester Police.
A jury of eight men and four women has been selected to try the case, which is listed for a two-day duration.
The complainant is expected to give evidence on Tuesday morning (May 24).
