As a result of the eviction notice, Travellers left the site and returned to Morrisons car park in Upton on Tuesday.

There were initially two caravans, but now only one remains.

“The police were involved but it is no longer a police matter as they are on private land.

“We have issued them with a notice to move but the notice has now expired.”
