A Chester hair salon has a new recruit - all the way from Sweden.
Tommy’s Hair Company, based in the Kaleyards, have been recruiting to expand their team, and after a series of interviews and trade tests, have found the stylist they believe will add even more flair to their establishment, in the form of Hanna Karlsson.
Fresh off the plane from Sweden, Hanna has been hairdressing for several years, and after recently moving to Liverpool with her partner, was looking for somewhere that could utilise her passion for hairdressing and at the same time offer opportunities outside of a standard salon job.
Hanna, who previously worked as a leading stylist in Soheilas Harstuga, said: “I saw the position, researched the brand, and knew that Tommy’s was a place that I wanted to work with their Dutch style mirrors, my own clean and modern taste, and at the same time giving me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of British hairdressing. People always think of Swedish people with beautifully blonde hair, which doesn’t always happen by nature, it happens by appointment!”
