Star chefs, delicious delicacies and special promotions all featured in the food and drink festival at Cheshire Oaks.
TV chefs Simon Rimmer and Stacie Stewart headlined the cookery theatre at the designer outlet.
Over two days of culinary delight, in partnership with Taste Cheshire, the chefs hosted ‘how to’ sessions to demonstrate how shoppers could create delicious home-cooked delights.
Simon took the stage on Saturday, taking time away from his role presenting Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch , to demonstrate morsels from his two Manchester restaurants.
Stacie Stewart, a This Morning regular and star judge on Simon Cowell’s Food Glorious Food , led the show on Sunday with treats from famed Beehive Bakery.
In between demonstrations, visitors could taste local delicacies from 18 stalls located throughout the malls selling a variety of local artisan products from pies, sausages and chutneys to cakes, fudge and other sweet treats. Homeware brands and restaurants across the centre also hosted fabulous promotions over the weekend.
Simon said: “The North West has such a fantastic offer of home-grown produce and the Cheshire Oaks Food and Drink Festival is a great celebration to get everyone involved in learning new ways of bringing these ingredients to life.”
Stacie added: “Home cooking is so important to me and using local ingredients is the icing on the cake.
“I was inspired to start cooking by my Nana Jean who taught me to bake and my recipes are based on traditional classic desserts with a modern twist.”
Jennifer Wilson, marketing manager at Cheshire Oaks, said: “The food and drink festival is always a great event and this year it was bigger and better than ever.
“The theatre our celebrity chefs create and the mouth watering recipes they cooked up made for a fantastic weekend.”
