The four star Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa in Thornton Hough is on the look out for the ultimate spa tester.
The hotel will appoint a ‘Spa Tsar’ to keep its award-winning spa team focused on delivering the best guest experience and finding the newest treatments.
Invited to test a series of treatments valued up to £350 each quarter, the new Spa Tsar will provide detailed feedback about the experience including customer service, value for money and areas for improvement. The lucky candidate will also be asked to create and share video reviews of all new treatments for use on social media.
News of this new position comes as Thornton Hall hotel & Spa announces it will refurbish its spa facilities, which have won Best Beauty Spa in the UK for the last three years, at the start of 2016.
The hotel has already invested more than £700,000 refurbishing its 62 hotel bedrooms, fine-dining restaurant The Lawns, public spaces, kitchen, brasserie, reception and car park since the start of 2015.

“The refurbishment of the spa and health club is certainly a key part of that and will see more than £100,000 invested in refreshing our facilities and introducing new treatments, but we wanted to do more than that.
“The new appointment will help us to really think about things from the customer’s point of view, reviewing and assessing our treatments and monitoring the competition too. The lucky applicant will be a very welcome addition to our team.”
